The Berger Picard Club of America is proud to announce an open show in conjunction with the Waukesha Kennel Club Show on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Waukesha County Exposition Center, N1 W 24848 Northview Rd, Waukesha, WI.
Show time is 30 minutes after Best in Show
Pre-entry: $15 Day of Show: $20.
Pre-entries close at the Event Secretary’s address on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 6:00PM EST
Day of Show Entries will be accepted on the day of the event one hour before start of the event.
The Waukesha Kennel Club is offering a BARN HUNT competition during their show. Mark your calendars!!

The Berger Picard Club of America would like to thank the Greenwich Kennel Club for allowing us the privilege for holding our Open Show in conjunction with their show. The turn out for our Miscellaneous and Foundation Stock Breeds was excellent with 34 dogs entered! Judge Frederick Vogel did a fantastic job helping our novice exhibitors feel welcome to the AKC ring. The Meet the Breeds and FSS parade of breeds were both a hit!

The AKC Board VOTED to approve a request from the Berger Picard Club of America to
1) approve the breed standard submitted as the official breed standard for the Berger Picard breed,
2) move the Berger Picard from the Foundation Stock Service into the Stud Book of the American Kennel Club on June 1, 2015, and
3) approve the Berger Picard to compete in the Herding Group, effective July 1, 2015.
